Investigating materials

We used scientific vocabulary to describe materials and recognised that knowing the properties of materials helps us to decide what material to use for different purposes.

NSPCC Children’s Day

As part of NSPCC Children’s day we could wear green or our sports kits. We also had a whole hours break time. We practised multi skills on the field, played parachute games on the MUGA, created games using equipment from the Playpod and went on the play equipment. It was so much fun!

Geography – The Commonwealth

We used an atlas to identify the Commonwealth Countries We researched a commonwealth country; New Zealand After learning about New Zealand we created a Haka routine. A Haka is a traditional Mauri dance or challenge.
