Christmas Fun

We finished all of our work so we’re making cards and calendars and listening to Christmas music.Last day of term!

Star of the Week

Here’s our Star of the Week in her new Christmas jumper! She is helpful, hardworking and kind. Thank you for being such a ‘good rememberer’ and for always making us smile.

Mathematician of the Week

Our Mathematician of the Week has been staying in at break and lunch to do more Maths, new Maths, extra exciting Maths — you name it.

Christmas Assembly

We had our last assembly of the term (and 2016!) this morning. All of the children sang different carols and songs, and Y5 and Y6 told the Christmas story. Can you tell that it is Christmas jumper day?

Disco!

Yesterday we had our 100% attendance disco (Well done, everyone!), and someone from Amethyst was the lucky winner of Musical Statues for KS2. Doesn’t she look happy?

Maths Mastery

Today we worked with our partners on another Maths challenge — Dicey Addition from the NRICH web site. We definitely love Maths!

SPaG! SPaG! SPaG!

More great SPaG from this member of Amethyst class. We used our three new WOW words (from Osbert) in sentences. The words were ‘pungent’, ’emaciated’ and ‘mute’. Do YOU know what they mean? Save
